I have just uploaded a new page to re-presentedgallery.org.uk Show ImageFor Web using the embedded slide show from my Flickr site. The page features some research images and development works made during May 09 . These works led up to the work featured in Empirical. There are currently only a few of the works and ideas that developed through May as I am trialling the Flickr slide show as a possible replacement for the Porta Photo Album Generator.  More images will be posted soon. The new page can be found at

re-presentedgallery.org has now become re-presentedgallery.org.uk. The new link is

http://www.re-presentedgallery.org.uk/index.html

Most of the original pages are up and the remainder will be back over the next few days. As soon as the current pages have been restored, I will start building some new work pages.

The earlier server problems seem to have been resolved and re-presentedgallery.org is now back on line.

Due to a problem with the power supply, the server that hosts re-presentedgallery.org is currently down. I hope the issue will be resolved asap allowing the site to come back on line.

I have just uploaded

“DeKooning once stated that ‘flesh was the reason oil paint was invented,’ I have taken this idea one stage further through exaggerating the inherent characteristics of the pigment contrasted with the shimmering light of electronic screens, creating new hybrid forms.  Essentially I imagine these paintings as being created by Van Gogh if he was somehow resurrected in the form of a cyborg. Long live the new flesh.” Gareth Haynes 08

Gareth talks about new work and his experience of being an early career artist. The full interview is available at
